Dec. 2002 A new Swedish commemorative coin, this time over Astrid Lindgren, is released. The denomination is 50 crowns and as usual it is legal tender. The number of copies minted is limited to 100000 and only one can be ordered per household. The coin is minted in a yellow alloy with Astrid on one side and Pippi Longstocking on the other.
